Special Event Coordinator(s)
Do
you have a gift of Hospitality? Do you have a gift of
Organization? We need
you!
Immanuel
needs a person or persons to coordinate some of the special events
that our Church Family celebrates.
Specifically, we are looking for assistance in coordinating
the following special events:
 | Volunteer
Appreciation:
This event has been held in the February time frame
over the past few years.
This event honours the work of all of our Immanuel
volunteers. Last
year’s event took the form of a dessert evening with fun and
games for the participants.
| Church
Picnic:
Typically held about mid-June, our Church family
gathers to celebrate the end of the school year and the
beginning of summer. This
event has been in the form of family games held after Sunday
worship followed by a BBQ lunch.
| Pastor
Appreciation:
October is Clergy Appreciation month where we take a
Sunday to honour our Pastors.
You’ll recall that we had coffee and cake after one
of our October services this fall to celebrate the blessing
that Pastor Jim is to us. It
would be great to see us come up with new and different ways
to honour our Pastors.

stepping forward to serve in one or all of these areas, your
ministry would be to recruit and coordinate a team of volunteers
to organize and deliver these events.
While we have outlined how these events have been delivered
in the past, you and your team are welcome to bring forward other
suggestions on how these events may be delivered.
These are special times of appreciation and fellowship and
you will bless the Immanuel Church Family by sharing your personal
gifts and enthusiasm. Please
